AutoPIL is a B2B infrastructure product. We do not sell your data, your customers' data, or your audit logs to anyone — ever. The audit events you generate belong to you.
AutoPIL is operated by AutoPIL Inc., headquartered in Dallas, Texas. We provide the AutoPIL Platform Intelligence Layer — a runtime policy enforcement, audit logging, and agent registry layer for AI-driven applications. Questions about this policy can be directed to privacy@autopil.ai.
When you create a trial or paid account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and payment information (processed by a third-party payment provider — we do not store raw card numbers).
We collect metadata about how you use the AutoPIL API and dashboard: request counts, latency, feature usage patterns, error rates, and browser/client information. This data is used to operate, improve, and support the product.
Audit events recorded through the AutoPIL API — including agent identifiers, source IDs, policy decisions, and query metadata — are your data. We store them on your behalf to provide the service. We do not use your audit events to train models, build profiles, or share with other customers.
If you contact us by email or through the product, we retain those communications to respond to you and improve our support quality.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to data brokers or third parties.
We share data only in these circumstances:
We retain account and usage data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after termination, unless a longer retention period is required by law or you request earlier deletion. Audit events are retained according to the retention settings configured in your tenant. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@autopil.ai.
AutoPIL is designed with security as a core property: audit events are written to a tamper-evident cryptographic chain, tenant data is isolated at the database layer, and API keys are scoped. We use TLS in transit and encryption at rest for all production data stores. That said, no system is impenetrable — please report security issues to security@autopil.ai.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@autopil.ai. We will respond within 30 days. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The autopil.ai website uses minimal cookies necessary to operate the site (session state, authentication). We do not use third-party advertising trackers or persistent cross-site tracking cookies. You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies; doing so may affect certain functionality.
AutoPIL is a business-to-business product not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify account administrators by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
